1. Remember that God’s Presence is Eternal
In Hebrews 13:5, we are reminded of God’s eternal presence when He says, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” As a Christian, whenever you are overcome with disappointment and suffering, you must always remind yourself that you are not alone.
2. Reflect on God’s Power
The Bible is filled to the brim with descriptions of God’s majesty and power. Through God, the Red Sea was parted. Through God, Daniel was saved from the lions in the den. Through God, the three Hebrew children were saved from the fiery furnace. Did God not use His power to stand with His children and save them from disaster and ruin? Why will He then not stand with you?
