Understanding Evangelism’s Call
Saving lost souls is best summed up in Jesus’s own words in Luke 19:10, “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” That is to say, that lost souls can only be saved through Jesus. As an evangelist, this means to be like Jesus, which in turn means to focus on what He focused on when He walked among us on the Earth. Jesus cared about the unsaved. He gave His life for them.
We all have a limited amount of time on this Earth, and none of us knows when we will be taken back to God and to Eternal Life. This means that we absolutely must do all that is possible for the cause of Christ. We cannot delay and meander when it comes to answering our call and doing God’s work.
It is our duty to present the Lord’s Gospel to every man, woman, and child who is unsaved.
Will You Bear Witness?
We are all brothers and sisters in Christ. Is it not our obligation then to do our part in saving our brothers and sisters to the best of our ability? Are you not responsible when you fail to act and spread the Word of the Lord to those who could be saved? When was the last time that you were able to bring someone to the path of our Lord Jesus?
