As Arnold Schwarzenegger once said, “If you want to turn a vision into reality, you have to give your 100%, and never stop believing in your dream.”
When asked what people were looking for in a leader during a recent survey, 72% said they want a forward-thinking leader. To be a leader is to connect with people in their current state. A leader must instill hope for a better tomorrow in the hearts of people.
Dream Big
You won’t accomplish much, unless you dream big. Back in the 1960s, it was unfathomable that a human would be able to walk on the moon. When just half a century before the moon landing, people were traveling by horses and buggies, the moon landing was an American dream that reached for the stars. Literally.
Taking inspiration from this is important. JFK and NASA had a vision and a strategy, and they ran with it, which lead to accomplishing one of the biggest feats in history. Take inspiration from them—if you don’t dream big, you won’t go anywhere!
Vision
You need to have a clear-cut vision about what you want to do. Creating actionable steps will require a tremendous amount of time, energy, and planning. Calculate your plan of action down to the tiniest detail, and figure out how you’re going to piece out every single step.
After this is done, as a leader, you need to decide how to deliver your vision and communicate with people. You need to communicate with your team constantly and remind them of the message to keep the dream and hope alive in their hearts. People lose focus by nature, and without reminders, they’ll often forget the purpose of following your leadership.

5. Trust God, since nothing is possible without His grace, and continue to pray!
