The COVID-19 pandemic is unlike any other pandemic the modern world has seen. We used to be accustomed to meeting friends and family regularly, going out whenever we wanted to, and living life without the fear of a potentially deadly virus. Ever since the pandemic began, our world has been turned upside down. It’s no longer safe to stay out, you have to wear masks, maintain social distancing, and are advised to stay home to be safe.

Initially, everyone thought it would be a matter of a few months, but with the pandemic in March 2020, it’s now become clear that we still have a long way to go. Experts aren’t too sure when this pandemic will truly be over and when we can go back to what was previously considered normal life.

The pandemic has made people feel incredibly lonely, particularly if they aren’t able to see their family or are stuck overseas. It has taken a toll on us emotionally, physically, and many will argue, spiritually too.

Here’s how you can strengthen your relationship with God during this tough time:

Listen to the sermon online

Just because you can’t go to church doesn’t mean you can’t listen to the word of God. Use our platform to listen to sermons all day. The sermons on our Christian radio will instill hope and help you cope with this time. Our sermons are easy to follow and are designed around these tough times the world is experiencing. Check the program schedule so you can tune into a sermon that can help you. Moreover, you can listen to these sermons in the safety of your home, while on a walk, or as part of your Bible study too.

Spend your free time listening to Christian podcasts

Podcasts are a great way to listen to messages while on the go. If you aren’t able to tune into our sermons, download our podcasts on your phone or computer. The great part about podcasts is that it’s great to listen to while you’re doing other stuff, like chores around the house, exercising, going for a walk, etc.

Read the Bible and pray regularly

Make Bible study and prayer a part of your routine. Prayer has the power to make you feel less anxious and stressed about your situation. It gives you the hope that you have left things in God’s hands and the outcome will, in some way, be beneficial for you. It might not make sense right now, but at some point in your life you will be grateful for it.

Worship music to the rescue when you’re feeling sad

This pandemic has caused an increase in mental health issues like depression and anxiety. People are stressed about their financial position, anxious about getting sick, and possibly depressed because they aren’t able to access the help they require during this time. While prayer alone might not directly impact your mental health, worship music can make you feel better. Listen to uplifting worship music with us on our radio channel.

Tune into the TLDM Evangelistic Media Network Bible broadcasting network that gives you the opportunity to stream worship music and listen to sermons. Enhance your knowledge about Christ and His word via our platform. You can also donate to support the ministry so we can continue to do great work.
